Erik ten Hag is reportedly pushing Manchester United towards what could prove a blockbuster attacking transfer that he seemingly sees as taking his side on to the next level.
The Red Devils are making obvious progress under the Dutchman’s leadership. And having won their first piece of silverware in six years, United are still hoping to add to their haul this summer.
Indeed, the strides they have made have certainly raised expectations at Old Trafford. The Red Devils also look on course to finish third in the Premier League this season too, securing with that a return to the Champions League.
As a result, plans are being drawn up for what many hope will be another blockbuster summer at Old Trafford. The Dutchman was allowed to lavish some £216m in his first pre-season with United. And while claims have been made that one of those signings is a costly mistake, it is hard to argue against Ten Hag’s transfer business.
Now United hope that more backing for the manager in the summer window will lead to further improvements.
Ten Hag will again be granted a hefty transfer budget and is seemingly targeting three elite signings. Indeed, he wants to sign a new striker, a midfielder and a right-back.
