Chelsea are ready to cut their losses on Hakim Ziyech and get his £100,000-a-week wages off their books in the summer transfer window.

According to Simon Phillips via GiveMeSport, Premier League giants Chelsea are ready to offload winger Hakim Ziyech in the upcoming 2023 summer transfer window.

The Moroccan international was one of the sought-after players across Europe while at Ajax Amsterdam. While he has had his moments at Stamford Bridge, the transfer to London has been more of a bust than a hit.

The arrival of Graham Potter has done Ziyech little favours and he has fallen down the pecking order at Cobham. The January arrivals of Nordi Mukiele, Mykhaylo Mudryk and Joao Felix (On loan) has, if anything, cemented the 29-year-old’s future at Chelsea.

Ziyech appeared to be on his way out of the club in January, with a loan switch to Paris Saint-Germain all but done. However, the paperwork was not completed within the stipulated time and the player stayed put at Chelsea.
